Established in 1969, HOLMAC^® started off as a company specialized in the design and manufacture of pumps and hydraulic components for industrial use. In 1981 came the big change: company know-how was directed towards the requirements of the nursery industry and perfected a revolutionary implement, the hydraulic shovel, which represented the first step towards mechanization in nurseries. The great success of this efficient work tool opened the door to the extraordinary production of machines for nurserymen.

All the various components, from research to experimentation and the most refined design technologies, have as their objective the solution to the problems of a rapidly developing sector.

• A range of constantly evolving products

HOLMAC^® has become a leading international company thanks to a wide range of tracked treediggers that vary mainly in the rootball cutting size, from 25 to 80 cm, from 25 to 100 cm, and from 50 to 140 cm in diameter. Some machines have a sideways cutting movement that allows plants in the narrowest rows to be extracted. Almost all the models are fitted with a patented system of track opening and advancing, which allows plants of considerable size to be handled. The tracked transporters, the trenchers and the plant-pot carriers perform other tasks around the nursery.

The main ones are those at our Padua and Pistoia premises, and in Germany, France, Holland and the United States.
